    Calm is a great app for meditation, but it’s sometimes a little unrealistic. Headspace is more down to earth, and that makes it more approachable in the end.

    This is the first app subscription I've ever bought and I have not regretted it at all. Some of the highlights for me: The run streak/awards feature adds accountability to keep you meditating. The different time lengths (from 20 minutes or even 60 minutes down to 1 or two minutes) offer flexibility on busy days (even though I'd like to meditate for at least 20 minutes every day). The different meditation techniques keep meditation interesting for beginners (my favorite is filling the body with sunlight). Also I'm looking forward to trying the kids section with my son eventually! Detractors (?) I had set mindful moments to go off at random during the day at first but after a while they felt like any other ping I would get on my phone. I started to just ignore them and eventually turned them off. I don't have any use for the add a buddy option. It's probably good for adding accountability for more social people but doesn't work for me.

    Good app if you don't know anything about meditation and you want to learn how to clear your mind and have more energy for your everyday life with just 10 min a day. Really really recommended it!! Give it a try.

    瞑想がどれほど心の安定や心の自由をもたらすことか。本を読んで理解することも大事かもしれないけど、とにかく実践することから始めるのが重要だと思います。このアプリは、毎日無理なく続けるための、格好のツールだと思います。 2017年6月にリニューアルがあり、待望の「文字によるコメント」がつきました。母語でない英語をヒアリングするだけでは心に染み込ませづらかったのですが、マインドフルネス実践の直後に読んで確認できるようになったので、とても良いです。アニメーションによるガイダンスが増えたのも嬉しい。
